Sorbet Mixture

  • 4 cups fresh seedless grapes (red or green)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or honey)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
  • Pinch of salt

Substitutions:

  • Sweetener: Replace sugar with agave or stevia.
  • Citrus Juices: Use orange juice for a sweeter twist.
  • Grapes: Try Concord or black grapes for a richer flavor.

Instructions

Step 1: Make Simple Syrup

  • Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Stir until dissolved. Let cool to room temperature.

Step 2: Blend Ingredients

  • Place grapes, lemon and lime juices, zest, and salt into a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
    Optional: Strain through a fine-mesh sieve for smoother texture.

Step 3: Mix and Freeze

  • Stir the cooled syrup with the grape puree. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Pour into your Ninja Creami pint, keeping below the max fill line.
  • Cover and freeze flat for at least 24 hours.

Step 4: Process and Serve

  • Insert the frozen pint into your Ninja Creami. Select the “Sorbet” function.
  • If crumbly, add a splash of juice or water and re-spin.
  • Scoop and serve in bowls or cones.
